Getting A's = Getting $ Money $

Well, today was the SPM results day, and guess what I didn't have any anxious feelings until I saw my slip....

OMG! I got 9A's and 3B's.... I never ever dreamt that I could achieve this high...

Analyzing of my results:

  1. Bahasa Melayu - 2A (quite sad cuz I had confidence to get 1A)
  2. Bahasa Inggeris - 1A
  3. Pendidikan Moral - 2A ( well... at least I didn't let Miss Foo down... I miss her classes man)
  4. Sejarah - 1A ( I still don't get how I get so high for Sejarah?!)
  5. Mathematics - 1A
  6. Additional Mathematics - 3B ( wow! pretty well done man!)
  7. Prinsip Perakaunan - 1A ( yes! SPM accounts its better than SAM accounts... -.-)
  8. Physics - 3B ( not bad at all... =D)
  9. Chemistry - 3B ( oh gosh... Kirstin, JJ, Jing Yi.... I didn't fail!!!)
  10. Biology - 2A ( interest do matters a lot... miss bio classes so much... sob)
  11. Bahasa Cina - 2A ( this was the part that made me nearly fainted)
  12. EST - 2A
well, my results really shows that I'm not a science person, apart from my interest on Biology... ^^
I really was shocked about my Chinese and was so happy that I can actually tell my Chinese teacher I got A!!! got face to see her now... =D

After the joy, friends around me also started to celebrate and there are some that went back with disappointment... don't know how to react actually but hope they will get through in life...

Something I was happy was for Shawn, HE PASSED! he is eligible to get SPM cert.. good for him....

OK now down to the MONEY PART:

  • Daddy gave me RM 50 to go to yam cha with friends at first cuz I didn't want to go home but end up I didn't go anywhere and came back home... watch TV... and blogging now ^^
  • Ah Po gave me RM 100 as she promised to all grandchildren to give them RM10 for scoring each A in their exam.... but I think its because she don't have change that's why I got RM 10 extra... LOL
  • Ah Gong appear in a sudden to see Ryan and Aunt Pooi so I got extra RM 50 from him
  • Mummy say we are going to Sunway tonight so I bet she will buy something for me also... as reward

OK, moral of the story:
Must the society place reward, a.k.a. MONEY with good results? Why nowadays we can always hear parents giving some kind of reward for their children when they do well in exams? Some even make a deal to have something, eg. Hand phone to score high in exam... it sounds funny but that happens in all families in our modern world... I guess its another 'Modern Society Illness'....

I don't really fancy these kind of deals, because

"we don't study for MONEY, isn't my friend?"
